Led by Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer, Graeme Murphy, Sydney Dance Company is Australia’s premier contemporary dance company, and its ensemble of eighteen dancers are acclaimed internationally for their technical finesse and artistry. Murphy’s new work GRAND explores the dynamic in the relationship between dance and the piano. The iconic image of the piano is the driving force and inspiration behind GRAND, as Murphy explores his passion for the piano through a journey into the heart of this remarkable instrument.
